We carry $3 million in liability insurance — three times the industry standard — and our delivery crew is CORI background-checked. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) on request.
Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for schools, churches, or venues?
Absolutely. Look Park, Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School, JFK Middle School, Florence Congregational Church, St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Smith College, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, and most venues in town require a COI before we set up. Let us know who needs to be named additionally insured and we'll have the paperwork ready before delivery day.

Do I need a permit for my tent in Florence?
The City of Northampton Building Department issues tent permits for Florence, and the Northampton Fire Department (Fire Station 2 is located right in Florence) reviews tents for areas of assembly with 50+ people. Can you set up tents on grass, driveways, or patios?
Yes to all three. On grass we stake the tent into the ground. On driveways, patios, or any hard surface we use water barrels or concrete weights to anchor. Just let us know your surface when booking so we bring the right equipment.
How far in advance should I book a tent rental in Florence?
Peak season (May–August) — especially Smith College commencement, Smith Vocational and JFK graduation weekends, and Three County Fair weekend — books 4–6 weeks in advance. Florence Night Out and Look Park wedding weekends fill fast too. For off-peak dates, 2–3 weeks is usually fine. A small deposit holds your date; the balance is due day of delivery.
What happens if it rains on my event day?
That's exactly what the tent is for — your event is covered, rain or shine. Our tents are built to handle New England weather and our crews install them to code with proper anchoring.
