Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for schools, churches, or venues?
Absolutely. Ludlow High School, Baird Middle School, Westover Golf Course, Ludlow Country Club, St. Elizabeth Parish, Our Lady of Fátima Parish, the Portuguese American Club, and most venues require a COI before we set up. Let us know who needs to be named additionally insured and we'll have the paperwork ready before delivery day.
Do you set up tents throughout Ludlow?
We serve all of Ludlow — the Center, the Mills area along the Chicopee River, East Ludlow, the Chapin Street corridor, Fuller Street, Lakeview (near Lake Lorraine), the Westover area, and the Belchertown Road north end. From Riverside Park to the historic Ludlow Mills redevelopment, we know every corner of the Mill Town.
Do I need a permit for my tent in Ludlow?
Yes, for larger tents. Most MA towns require a building permit for any tent over 400 sq ft with proof of fire rating — that covers most wedding-size tents (20x30 and up) and all of our Elite, Hex, and Century tents. Ludlow uses an online permit portal called PermitEyes. Check with the Ludlow Building Department or call 413-583-5600 x3 before your event. We can provide fire-rating documentation for our tents to support your application — just ask.
Can you set up tents on grass, driveways, or patios?
Yes to all three. On grass we stake the tent into the ground. On driveways, patios, or any hard surface we use water barrels or concrete weights to anchor. Just let us know your surface when booking so we bring the right equipment.
How far in advance should I book a tent rental in Ludlow?
Peak season (May–August) — especially Ludlow High graduation weekend, Our Lady of Fátima feast weekend in May, and prime summer wedding dates at the Ludlow Country Club — books 4–6 weeks in advance. For off-peak dates, 2–3 weeks is usually fine. A small deposit holds your date; the balance is due day of delivery.
What happens if it rains on my event day?
That's exactly what the tent is for — your event is covered, rain or shine. Our tents are built to handle New England weather and our crews install them to code with proper anchoring.
